About eKomi

eKomi is an independent service provider that we use to obtain genuine customer reviews. To ensure that the published reviews only come from people who have actually purchased our insurance products from us, eKomi has taken various measures to check the authenticity of the customer reviews. We would like to inform you about these in the following.

How are ratings given?

HanseMerkur customers can submit a rating directly after completing the ordering process or via a rating invitation by e-mail. The prerequisite for submitting a rating is that an insurance policy has demonstrably been taken out. If the customer has not received an evaluation invitation, this can be requested from eKomi. In this case, the conclusion of an insurance policy must also be proven. Double evaluations for the same product are technically not possible.

How is the authenticity of the ratings ensured?

In order to verify the authenticity of the rating and its legitimacy, ratings cannot be submitted without providing the individual email address. The e-mail address serves as a verifiable reference for the rating submission. Likewise, proof of the conclusion of an insurance policy must be provided, unless the rating is given directly after conclusion or via an e-mail invitation.

Features

Each submitted review - whether positive or critical - is manually checked by eKomi for logical contradictions and other conspicuous features before it is published and flows into the review statistics. Under certain circumstances, reviews can be deleted in whole or in part or not published, for example in the case of a violation of eKomi's communication guidelines or if there are reasonable doubts about the legitimacy of the submitted review.
