Our tips for calling and how to behave in an emergency

Enter your name and a telephone number.
State your insurance number.
What? What is the nature of the illness or accident?
Where? Indication of the location, e.g. hotel or hospital with room number.
Who? Contact person on site, e.g. attending doctor or police station.
Do not sign anything on the spot without consulting them, e.g. cost transfers.
Insist on receipts and medical reports and, optionally, invoices or receipts.
