Are you working abroad for a few months, completing a semester abroad or planning a longer holiday? With international health insurance, you are covered for up to 364 days against treatment costs in the event of illness. It is particularly advisable to have travel health insurance outside the EU, as doctors and hospitals usually do not accept the Austrian e-card. As treatment costs abroad are often much higher than in Austria, you can quickly incur high costs, especially for inpatient stays. What benefits are included?
Our international health insurance reimburses outpatient and inpatient medical costs for stays of up to one year. This also includes dental treatment, urgent operations and ambulance transport. If you have to return home early, we will refund the partial premium for the unused days.
